ISTANBUL - ''We want to see Turkey in the EU because a genuine EU cannot be without Turkey,'' said Italian Ambassador to Turkey Carlo Marsili.
A luncheon was held in Turkish metropolis of Istanbul to mark the 150th anniversary of Turkish-Italian diplomatic relations. Alberto Moggi, the head of Italian Chamber of Commerce in Turkey; Turkish and Italian businessmen; consul generals of EU member states; and journalists participated in the luncheon."
