"Turkish Investors Now Prefer Turkey Before Bulgaria and Romania, Says Vorkink
EuroregionalWorld Bank Turkey Director Andrew Vorkink has indicated that Turkish investors, who chose to invest in Bulgaria or Romania in the past, now prefer to invest in Turkey thanks to improvement in economic conditions.
In an exclusive interview with the A.A, Vorkink remarked that investments have increased in Turkey. ''Turkish entrepreneurs who invested overseas in the past are now returning back and making investments in their home country'', said Vorkink.
Vorkink pointed out that the beginning of full membership negotiations with the European Union (EU) had an impact on the decision of Turkish investors to come back to Turkey for new investments. "
