"Governor claims no attack on Armenian church

The governor of Kayseri on Thursday denied there was a recent attack on an Armenian church in the city, reported the Anatolia news agency.
The denial by Kayseri Governor Osman Güneş came a day after the Armenian Patriarchate in Turkey said in a written statement that a group of people had fired 10 times at a church door, chanting 'Allahu Akbar' and anti-Christian slogans."
