Diplomacy based on deception can have temporary successes, but in the long run it is bound to collapse. Speaking in a different language in discussions with two parties to a problem may help achieve some provisional advances, but sooner or later someone will start to shout �The emperor has no clothes!� and humiliation will become the natural fruit of such shallow politics."
