"Oil Imports No Longer Comprise The Majority Of Turkey's Imports, Tuzmen
ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen has indicated that oil imports no longer comprise the majority of Turkey's imports.
''Oil imports are now marginal. Turkey's imports are worth 115 billion USD. Oil imports only make up 10-15 percent of all imports,'' said Tuzmen.
Omani Transport and Telecommunications Minister Muhammad bin Abdallah bin Isa al-Harthi and an accompanying delegation met Tuzmen at his office in Ankara today.
Tuzmen noted that his government wishes to bring relations with Oman to the highest level possible. We wish to develop ties with Oman which is close to Turkey from a cultural and religious perspective, said Tuzmen."
