The powerful Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodities Exchanges (TOBB) held a seminar in Istanbul yesterday to train business groups how to be effective in lobbying the European Union during the country's membership negotiations.
�The Turkish business world is just learning about how to approach the EU,� said Halim Mete, vice chairman of TOBB. �The road ahead is long, but the worst thing would be to go in unprepared.�"
