During the entire yesterday Azerbaijani voters were stuck to the TV news to find out which candidates had become MPs, and who hadn't, and what did international observers think about it.
And the latter are thinking quite differently. For example, the OSCE believes that the Sunday parliamentary election did not comply with the international standards and that there were a lot of breaches during the vote "especially when the votes were calculated."
Others - for instance, observers from the CIS are sure that the voting and calculation processes were democratic enough.
Many other observers agree: those from Turkey, Iran, Baltic states, several representatives of the USA. For instance, Akkan Suver, head of the Turkish observation mission, said that "the election complied with all international standards."
