TURKEY has been on a long journey seeking EU membership. Conditions are set and met, and then arise new hurdles, which finally is not taking Turkey anywhere nearer to its EU dreams. How long it can go on like this? Under the circumstances, it would be better for Turkey to forget about its EU dreams, and fall back on its internal strengths."
