COMO - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, ``Turkey`s full membership increases strategical power of the EU.``
Erdogan attended a session on the EU issue on the second day of Ambrosetti Forum in Como, Italy on Saturday.
Erdogan expressed one more time the determination of Turkey to join the EU as a full member during his speech.
When asked whether there would be fundamentalism if Turkey does not join EU, Erdogan said, ``our path is clear. If Turkey is not accepted in the EU, we make Copenhagen criteria be Ankara criteria. We continue on our path. We are against making politics over religion. Islamic terror definition is very wrong. There can be fanaticism in every religion. There is fundamentalism in every religion. We consider this bigotry. It is necessary to carry out joint fight against it. Fundamentalism is not peculiar to only Islam or any other religion.``"
