"Turkey: EU farmers more productive than Turkish farmers
14:31 - 12 July 2005 - European Union farmers are more productive and earn, on average, more than Turkish farmers, data released by the Turkish Grain Office (TMO) shows.
Indeed, Turkish farmers produce two tons of wheat from one hectare of land, whereas EU farmers produce approximately 5.8 tons from one hectare of land, according to data released by the TMO."
