"Turkey Among Most Attractive Tourism Countries
According to the Europe's leading travel group, TUI, Turkey is among the most attractive tourist destinations this year. According to TUI's 2004-2005 seasonal report, there will be a booming demand for Turkey as a tourist destination this season.
The TUI reports Spain as the most preferred country and is immediately followed by Turkey as a popular tourist destination. TUI noted that the movement of tourism in Europe displayed an increase since last year, and declared growth will be estimated at 5.3 percent. The continued growth in the demand for Turkey and Spain is reported to the have contributed the most to this increase. According to the company's reservation demand list, at least 15 percent more tourists than the last year are expected come to Turkey. After Turkey, Portugal, Tunisia, and Morocco are also expecting an increase in demand in tourism.. As a revival in activity is expected during this year's tourist season, no negative incidents that could reverse this positive reservation trend are reported."
