New document reveals corruption in building of ‘Ak Saray’
Amid criticism for its extravagancy, the new presidential palace called Ak Saray (the White Palace) is now under scrutiny for allegations of corruption. The online newspaper Karşı on Wednesday published a document demonstrating corruption during the construction of the new presidential palace. According to the document, the construction company made profits that exceed 1,000 percent, in violation of the spending standards set by the Ministry of Environment.
