Turkey’s Kurdish Question: a neverending story?

Kurdish protesters have taken to the streets in Turkey and in other cities across Europe to demand the release of Kurdistan Workers’ Party leader Abdullah Öcalan who’s been imprisoned in Turkey since 1999. The PKK seeking autonomy in the southeast of the country is still considered a terrorist organization by Turkey and its allies. But recent months the Turkish Government has made indications that dialog may be possible to end the long conflict.
