Turkey asks Merkel to back its EU aspirations
The German Chancellor Angela Merkel has met with Turkish leaders during a two-day visit to the country. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he asked Merkel to support Turkey's stalled EU accession bid.
