Turkish April Budget Deficit 4.57 Billion Liras From Surplus

Turkey’s budget had a deficit of 4.57 billion liras ($2.5 billion) in April compared with a surplus of 1.43 billion liras in the same month of last year, the Treasury said.
The deficit, excluding interest payments on debt, was 288 million liras compared with a surplus of 4.05 billion liras in April 2011, the Treasury in Ankara said on its website today in preliminary data measuring cash inflows and outflows.
