Turkey’s new government is quick to address the country’s growing need for energy, one of the most pressing problems facing Turkey’s soaring economy, reports Today's Zaman.
According to the new Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government program, which was announced by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Ministry of Enegery and Natural Resources -- over the next four years -- will develop policies and intensify efforts in trying to reduce the impact of the energy imports on the Turkish current account deficit (CAD)."
