"CM wants to see Lahore as clean as Istanbul

LAHORE
CHIEF Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that he wants to see Lahore a clean and beautiful city like Istanbul and he will like to provide a clean environment to people of other cities of the province also.
He said he had made it clear to the bureaucracy that transparency in development projects was essential but there would be no delay in the projects on that pretext. He said Pakistan was a poor country and we could not afford luxuries, therefore, all resources were being spent for provision of education, health, water and other basic facilities to people by promoting simplicity. "
