Turkey’s Iran policy is creating confusion. It certainly is difficult to understand the Middle East politics, which benefits from the rule of taqiyeh that is based on “misleading other’s about one’s own true beliefs or intentions.” It also comes in the form of disinformation. Two recent events may shed light on how this seemingly friendship may currently be complimentary while at the same time veiling a strong contradiction in their respective interests. Therefore, before writing Turkey on Iran’s side, caution is a must. "
