"Germany - Federal Foreign Minister Westerwelle meets leader of Turkish Cypriot community
Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle and the leader of the Turkish Cypriots, Dervish Eroğlu, met today (26 October) for talks at the German Bundestag.
Their discussion focused mainly on negotiations on the reunification of the island of Cyprus, which has been divided since 1974. Foreign Minister Westerwelle called on Mr Eroğlu to demonstrate the greatest possible flexibility in order to conclude these negotiations successfully."
