The talented Turkish-German film director Fatah Akin spent much of the '90s in a funky warehouse restaurant in Hamburg, looking east toward his parents' homeland and west toward the country that produced the soul music on the eatery's turntables. That Hamburg restaurant is the inspiration for 'Soul Kitchen,' a rambunctious, bountiful comedy starring cook-turned-actor Adam Bousdoukos."
