"Kiplagat sets new record at Istanbul marathon

Kenya’s Vincent Kiplagat (left) recorded the fastest time in the history of the Istanbul Marathon on Sunday as he finished in 2hr 10min 39sec.
Kiplagat’s performance bettered the time run by compatriot David Emmanuel Cheruiyot in 2007 of 2hr 10:56."
