"Turkey seeks Europe-wide clampdown on Kurdish rebels
Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Istanbul on June 23, warned European leaders that Europe’s security could not be guaranteed unless they stepped up support for Ankara in its struggle with Kurdish rebels. This included such measures as extraditing suspects sought by Turkish authorities."
