"Time Out editors from Istanbul and Tel Aviv talk about the recent controversy

Last week, Time Out editors from around the world met for an international conference, in Lisbon, to discuss the usual Time Out burning subjects—sex, eating and drinking, staycations, all very pressing. But outside our bubble, the real world was aflame: Israeli troops had killed nine pro-Palestinians aboard a flotilla from Turkey, seriously straining relations between the two countries.
One night (on a dinner cruise, no less), our chief editors from Tel Aviv and Istanbul discussed the matter intimately—and then they wrote the following. The opinions are theirs; the English is theirs. The result is an undistilled view we didn’t see here in the States."
