Erkan Saka is a lecturer in Public Relations and Media and Communication Systems departments at Istanbul Bilgi University. He has received his PhD. Degree in 2009 at the Anthropology Department of Rice University (Houston, TX). His research focused on journalistic productions of Turkish senior journalists and columnists in the context of Turkey’s membership negotiations with the EU. His current academic interests also include cybercultural emergences in Turkey."
