ISTANBUL, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Istanbul is getting ready to welcome high-level international guests and local residents to the official celebration of the title 2010 European Capital of Culture on Jan. 16.
The celebrations will display once again the energy of Istanbul through the most eminent names of the country in culture-arts and performances of world-famous special show groups, the organizers said."
