"Azeri Socar plans oil refineries for Turkish market

BAKU, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Azerbaijan, fast-emerging as a large player on the Mediterranean crude oil market, plans to invest $12-15 billion by 2017 to build a domestic refinery and two plants in Turkey, a top executive told Reuters.
Davud Mamedov, vice-president of state energy firm Socar said the plants would process up to 600,000 barrels per day."
