The five-star Four Seasons Hotel, built on the relics of the Grand Byzantine Palace and operating in a century-old building, Dersaadet Tevkifhanesi, (Sultanahmet prison), a neoclassic structure in the heart of Istanbul's historic Sultanahmet district, has plans to expand with a 50-bed capacity additional building, the body of which will be constructed with steel. Art historians are anxious about these developments"
