By hosting the 5th World Water Forum in 2009, Turkey will be able to shape the solutions for alarming water problems, said Prof. Oktay Tabasaran, the Secretary General of the Forum, in an interview with the Turkish Daily News during the kick off meeting in Istanbul on Tuesday. Delegates from 50 countries met in Istanbul at the beginning of the week to set the agenda of the next Forum and to hand over the chairmanship of the conference from Mexico to Turkey."
