The EU needs Turkey as much as Turkey needs the EU. The EU needs Turkey as a global actor and Turkey needs the EU as a vision, said Aydın Dumanoğlu, co-chairman of the Turkey-EU Joint Parliamentary Commission. During a press conference at the Turkish Embassy in London after meeting with NGOs, Dumanoğlu said that Turks living in Europe were playing an important role in Turkey's EU bid."
