Ankara has asserted, following the 'progress report' on Turkey issued yesterday by the EU Commission, that Cyprus has no connection to Turkey's EU accession talks, and that the current administration is not going to accept decisions on Cyprus as conditions for the continuation of the talks. Ankara government members stressed yesterday that responsibility for the continuation of the EU accession talks fell more on EU member countries than it did on Turkey. "
