"Plassnik urges timeout in Turkey-EU talks

Austrian Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik on late Monday called for a timeout in Turkey's talks with the European Union to ease the current tension.
Plassnik also underlined that it is the duty of the Union to push the Greek Cypriots to fulfill their commitments and said, 'Nobody seriously wants the derailment of Turkey's talks with the bloc. Both Turkey and EU should exert efforts to protect their positive manners towards each other.' "
