It is obvious that the leading Turkish press does not have any interest in the world of classical music. The artists who suffer this lack of interest the most are those who renowned internationally and those with friends in media. And then there are the �silent heroes.� Their have made outstanding achievements and important contributions in promoting Turkey abroad, but no one except their close circle of friends and relatives are aware of them because they are humble, they do not run around for publicity, they only keep on doing what they are best at. This week I will tell you about one such silent hero: flautist Songül Özdemir Seidel."
