The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated yesterday that the deadlock on Cyprus shouldn't poison Turkey's accession process in the European Union.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Namik Tan also ruled out speculations that Turkey won't be able to start substantial negotiations unless the deadlock over Cyprus will be resolved. "
