EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn announced the European Union had been waiting for Turkey to adopt its ninth reform package.
Meeting Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul for lunch at the Turkevi in New York, Rehn said they would wait for the ninth package to be implemented before preparing the new progress report."
