"Cyprus: might block Turkey's EU negotiations
12:59 - 08 June 2006 - The Republic of Cyprus threaten to block accession negotiations between Turkey and the EU unless Ankara implements the supplementary customs union protocol and opens its ports, airspace to Greek Cypriots, according to media reports. Greek Cypriots demanded from EU member states that if Turkey fails to implement the protocol, the negotiation chapters should not be closed or the whole negotiation process should be suspended. "
