"US Embassy sought talks with Iranian diplomats

The U.S. Embassy in Ankara has been seeking talks with Iranian diplomats in Turkey for months by conveying messages through intermediaries, Iranian sources told The New Anatolian this week.
'They've conveyed several indirect messages to us. Once even a European country conveyed us an offer for a meeting at their embassy in Ankara between us and the U.S.. But we turned them down on instructions from Tehran,' one Iranian official said, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The U.S. Embassy however did not confirm this and a U.S. diplomat said that they 'are unaware of such offers.'"
