"Six skiers to represent Turkey in 2006 Olympic Winter Games

ANKARA, Feb. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Turkey will be represented by six skiers in the 2006 Olympic Winter Games that will start in Italian city of Torino on Friday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported Thursday.
About 2,500 sportsmen and sportswomen will compete in seven sports branches during the Olympic Winter Games to be held between February 10th and 26th.
Sabahattin Oglago and Muhammet Kizilarslan of Turkey (men's) and Kelime Aydin (women's) will represent Turkey in Nordic skiing. Hamit Sare (men's) and Duygu Gul Ulusoy (women's) will compete in Alpine skiing.
Tugba Karademir will be the only Turkish ice skater in women's figure skating.
About 10,000 journalists are expected to cover the events. Tugba Karademir will carry the Turkish flag during the opening ceremony. Enditem"
