"Turkish religious leaders condemn cartoons
ANKARA, Turkey, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Turkey's Christian religious leaders have condemned as offensive the Danish cartoons of the prophet Mohammed that have roiled the Middle East.
Armenian Patriarch Mesrob Mutafyan said the cartoons' publication violated 'moral values, but not freedom of expression,' the Turkish Daily News reported.
Leaders of Turkey's miniscule Greek Orthodox Patriarchate community also denounced the publication of the caricatures."
