Until Sunday afternoon the Turkish public had watched the unfolding events with great calm, and we were proud of this. It is necessary to condemn those who killed the priest in Trabzon on Sunday and in particular those who contributed to his death. The AKP should show us its skills now, coming out as strongly as possible against this murder -- not just with sound bites but with action."
