Izmir. Not Turkey but the Republic of Cyprus lied to EU about Kofi Annan's plan on solving Cyprus issue, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated cited by Turkish TV station NTV.
Today at meeting with businessmen and NGOs representatives in the Turkish resort of Kusadasi Erdogan criticized pressure put by Austria on opening Turkish airports and ports to Cyprus planes and ships.
Erdogan pointed out that 'Turkey will not accept threats for ceasing EU accession talks on account of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus'. "
