It is not possible to tolerate the dismissive and insulting cartoons aimed at our Prophet Mohammed; or swallow the incident in the name of speech freedom as some EU leaders suggested.

The same leaders ignore the fact that the denial of the Holocaust is a crime in their own countries. It is impossible to expect one and a half billion Muslims to remain silent against the juxtaposition of their most beloved prophet's name- the Eternal Light all the Muslims are ready to die for- and the hateful word of terror. However, the protests held on democratic grounds became violent, as in the examples of torching Danish Embassies and burning flags. As Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said, these kinds of protests gain nothing, but wrongful acts for Muslims in the eyes of the world."
