"Turkish Economy Undergoes Strongest Period in History

InternationalThe State Minister for economy and Turkey’s chief negotiator for European Union membership talks, Ali Babacan, revealed that the Turkish economy is undergoing its strongest period.
At a breakfast meeting with journalists on Sunday, Babacan said they decreased the inflation rate to an extent that has not been seen by a generation in the past.
He emphasized reduction in interest rates below 10 percent from 66 percent. "
