"Turks become first Muslim women to scale Gasherbraum-II

ISLAMABAD: Dr Burchak and Elif Koch of Turkey have achieved the unique distinction of being the first among Muslim women to reach Gasherbraum-II peak, Serhan Pocan, the leader of the first Turkish “Hiinalaya-2005 Expedition” said here.
The Turkish team scaled the 8,035metre high mountain peak on July22 this year."
