The Istanbul Modern Art Museum has been visited by 100,000 people since its official inauguration on Dec. 11, 2004. Opening its doors to nearly 4,000 visitors a day during its first month, with attendance especially high on weekends, Istanbul Modern has received much interest from art aficionados. "
