Emotional vs. rational divide will decide election in Turkey
Electoral campaigning in Turkey ahead of elections on June 24 has been based heavily on constituents' emotions, particularly fear, with pro-government circles blaming the Turkish lira’s slide on attacks by foreign powers, political scientist Özgehan Şenyuva said in his article published by the German Marshall Fund on Friday.
