It is estimated that in the general election to be held on June 7, some of the traditional supporters of the Kemalist main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) are likely to cast their votes in favor of the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), which is at risk of failing the 10 percent threshold and being excluded from the next Parliament.
