Construction permit for 16:9 towers runs out, buildings must be demolished
The five year construction permit for one of the blocks of a residential complex, known as 16:9 (Onaltıdokuz), under construction in the Zeytinburnu district of İstanbul has run out such that the building must be demolished even if the proprietor completes the ongoing court case that was initiated on the grounds that the buildings damage the silhouette of the city.
