Turkey official to resign for ‘drinking alcohol’

ISTANBUL – Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has ordered a senior regional party official to resign after pictures apparently showed him drinking alcohol, media reported Friday.
