The Turkish (delightful) connection

For the past thirty years, I have flown over Turkey, looked down, and marveled at the terrain, dreamt of Mt. Ararat where Noah's Ark had supposedly washed ashore, and traveled west flying over the capital Ankara, imagining Attaturk planning the modern Turkish model and finally Istanbul or Constantinople or Byzantium and yearning to visit Topkapi and The Blue Mosque.
