ANKARA, May 10 — Suleyman Akdeniz, who reportedly confessed to torturing and killing his 6-year-old cousin Gizem Akdeniz in a case that has riveted Turkey, was transferred to a sponge room in a high-security prison to prevent him from inflicting self-harm.
